Plans for RoS Empty
PostSubject: Plans for RoS   Plans for RoS EmptyFri 21 Feb 2014, 01:27

I've been trying to avoid "spoilers" since I last saw that everyone just complained about everything, but I do still have a basic idea of what I want to do early on.

I'm going to start by creating a Crusader, and playing that throughout the entire story and up to level 70. That's the best way to enjoy the new content while also getting used to the changes, at least in my opinion. At the point I plan on switching back to my wizzy after that as my main again. I hope the bounties and rifts are as interesting as they seem.

Can't forget about clans. May join the wizard community clan if nothing else. And any community that may prove helpful.

Any different plans for RoS?

I'm going to play through 70 with my main wizard, work on getting new legs and such. Going to make a sader at some point and play that up to 70. Probably going to get every class to 70 actually. Not sure about clans or communities yet.

Don't forget to stack MF anywhere that you won't gimp yourself. Its no longer provided naturally with Paragon levels, and they don't offer it for Paragon points either last I saw.

I just remembered that I also want to go achievement hunting fairly early on. See if I can finish before one of my friends who already has every achievement on live.

Yeah achievements are fun to hunt for. Tempted to finish as many as I can before they all change. Don't have many left from vanilla.

I wanted to go for them, but I prioritized Paragon levels. Quite a few of the achievements are extremely tedious, and Hardcore ones will especially take me a long time to accomplish. I do hope to be a bit more successful at HC in RoS. I think some of the changes will help with that.

I can see it now that you're logged in. And nice work on the Achievements. Unique collection is a pain though.

Yeah there's a couple that are just a pain. Like the stupid Wheel of Misfortune one. So fucking annoying that they have two random factors built in. Just makes it stupid and tedious to do. No real achievement, just a mindless "fetch quest" like goal. I guess that's Blizz for you, though.

They can't make things too difficult, otherwise they'd risk losing the bitchy little kids always complain it's too hard anyways.

I may switch my plans a little and start by running Halls of Agony Level 3 on the highest Difficulty I can for as long as I can. Assuming they don't nerf it before release. At the numbers listed, Paragon 400 could actually be a realistic goal for 1 month (depending on how well you can get into the higher Torment levels of course)

It might also prove more beneficial since I could start with my MF gear from day one. (Only 40%, but it's better than nothing. And I should have a Puzzle Ring for a little more if I feel I need it.)
