Wizard snacks Empty
PostSubject: Wizard snacks   Wizard snacks EmptyTue 17 Dec 2013, 05:39

Pretty sure I saw kind of similar thread on the official forum some time ago but what the hell, why not post here?

What do you guys eat/drink whilst farming?

I drink all kinds of stuff. If I'm in for a long session (like this past Saturday) I'll down some energy drinks. Otherwise it's usually tea or water or sometimes sodas. Recently I've discovered that I'm developing a taste for coffee, which I usually hate (drinking some now actually lol). If I'm eating something it's usually something small like crisps or similar. But nothing too greasy. Gotta think of my precious keyboard.

Actually that applies to general computer usage too, not just D3.

Cheezits are very unfriendly to keyboards, which is why I usually stop everything else while they disappear. As for drinks, it varies from soda, to hot chocolate, and sometimes even sake or scotch. I also keep life savers on hand for something to just munch on.

For me, usually no snacks around the new laptop. But I will have glass of wine or JD on the table next to me.

I used to be careful to keep everything away from my keyboard, but after it started giving me problems, I eventually just stopped caring. (Rather disapointed with Razer since many of their products keep dying after just over a year.)

Yeh. Had a deathadder which was great right out of box. But many problems and didn't hold up to longevity.

I'm using a Naga basic that I've beaten to hell and back that still works great. Nostromo/Tartarus and Carcharias/Tiamat 7.1 that still impress me. Most of their mice have not held up, and all for keyboards have had one problem or another.

How did a food thread become about keyboards and stuff? lol I really prefer mechanical keyboards. Been using one for ... years. Since I first went to uni way back when. I had a MI keyboard all through uni and then for a couple years after (that's a LOT of typing for school, plus gaming, plus I write). Never had any problems with it except towards the end of its career when the cord started to get sketchy where it connects to the unit. I've since switched to a Gigabyte (roughly 2 years now) and it's still performing great. Granted I'm not doing as much typing (no school) but I've certainly started gaming more lol. Maybe because I'm something of a neat freak when it comes to my computer gear. So regular cleanings and things and I tend to freak out a little bit if I drop any crumbs on my keyboard. Particularly if they're threatening to fall beneath the keys.

I've been looking at Roccat with red switches, but hopefully I don't need it for a while still.

And its good that thisvis our own forums, otherwise the Blizzard forum mods probably would've moved or deleted it after getting off topic.

See that's the thing. There's a difference between a thread going off topic and a thread going off topic because of the natural flow of a conversation.

Try telling that to them. I've seen some threads (particularly in the wizard community) get deleted for completely unknown reasons.

It's almost like that's part of the reason this forum exists! d;

To be a little on topic here, I'm having a cup of tea right now. It's one of those amazing cups where you know you've got the perfect amount of sugar and milk. Soooooo good.
