| Maybe a "This is me: Intro" section
Might as well make a "Theory crafting" section to lure the brains in
Console section?
And what I really would like to see if we get the community to successfully come in, a trading section but not like the dreaded trading forums like jsp or diablos because it's just general trading. Sections for Wiz gear, Barb Gear, Crusader, etc. always hated trying to search for something specific when all I really want to do is see what is available for my character. Could be one of the biggest improvements especially when 2.0 starts/or they shutdown AH. Give this forum an edge over others.
Hope I'm not making u too busy =]

| I agree with individual trading and Theory Crafting. And make sure to include Math under Theory Crafting or as it's own section (sub section?)
A friendly challenge area for people to come up with any kind of challenge or contest for each other (gearing, clear times, specific gear, etc) could help keep things interesting. |

| Thanks for the suggestions. Some good ideas and definitely all possible.
I considered an intro section but opted against it because most people are already familiar with each other. Then again,if lurkers and newbies join here, it would be a good chance to get to know each other more. I think I will add an introduction section.
A theory crafting section wouldn't be a bad idea but this forum isn't meant to be the go-to place for information. It's definitely not intended to replace the official forum (which it never could). Perhaps in the future one will be added.
Really the forum is just starting up and there are very few members at the moment. So for now the forum will stay small. Once more people start joining and the forum starts having its own identity I'm sure there will be a need for more sections to be added. When that time comes we'll see what happens. (;

| Oh, didn't see your post Enremeit. I like the idea of a challenge section so that will be added. (;

| Ooh, how about some sort of special recognition for the first X number of people to register?? |

| Things like that can be tricky. People tend to develop a sense of elitism based on things like join dates or post counts. However, I will give it some thought.

| True. Maybe find something simple that wouldn't be too obvious? Mostly for personal enjoyment/collection is what I'm thinking. |

| Random thought, and since I'm on my phone I can't see if it's on the actual site, is there a way to PM? |

| What about a sub section specifically for guides?? Could be gearing, farming routes, Uber tricks, or whatever. Just a place to keep an organized set of useful guides so people don't have to search for them amongst everything else. |

| A nice idea but let's remember this forum is meant to be more of an off-topic kind of place. Things like guides and such are better suited for the official forum. If and when there are more members and an interest is shown, I'll reconsider. Thanks for the input though.

| So i know you've said that a couple times now, Pangaea, which is great and I respect that. Just consider this about building or attracting some community, we may need some of those topics/sections to draw in peeps.

| Didn't think of it that way mdboom. I think I'll still work on my guide to post here. Then I can add it to the official forums a few days later. Either way, I started it a month and lost motivation... |

Boom- It is a good idea and I do understand the attraction. Nevertheless, it would be nothing more than copying the guides currently on the official forums. Like I said, if/when there are more members with more things to contribute I'll re-consider.
